Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American model and actor that has appeared in numerous television shows and movies over the past several years. Initially she worked as a professional model and when she gained international recognition, she made her foray into acting. In 1995, she began acting with a television show named 'Baywatch. Harmon has also performed voice acting, and she has also contributed her voice to an animated version of the film "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker'. Harmon has decided to end her work on television series and focus only on films during 2000. At the beginning of 2000 the actress returned to television series following appearances in several movies. She was among of the only actresses who posed discreetly naked in an Allure magazine.' Her main work is in the role of the detective Jane Rizzoli on TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles'. When she played Detective Jane Rizzoli, she's been well-received and received accolades.
